Job Description
As an Energy Regulatory Attorney, you'll play a critical role in supporting large-scale renewable energy projects (wind and solar) by providing final legal review and resolving complex regulatory and real estate issues. Your expertise will ensure that project documentation, interconnection compliance, and site control meet all legal and regulatory standards for successful project development and financing.
Requirements
Active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction; 8+ years of legal experience, with a focus on energy law, real estate law, or environmental law; Deep understanding of PJM Interconnection processes and FERC regulations; Strong background in site control review (easements, leases, options) and title resolution; Experience with large-scale renewable energy project development and financing; Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Provide final legal review of site control documents and interconnection filings; Resolve escalated disputes related to real estate and regulatory compliance; Assess project alignment with PJM and FERC requirements; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline legal processes; Ensure all project documentation is 'finance-ready' for external partners.
