We are looking for a detail-oriented Podcast Audio Transcription Specialist fluent in Icelandic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting Icelandic podcast audio into high-quality, accurate text. The ideal candidate has a sharp ear for detail, excellent command of the Icelandic language, and the ability to work efficiently with various audio formats.

Fluency in Icelandic (native or near-native preferred). Strong English skills (for communication and guidelines). Previous experience in transcription or a related field. Reliable internet connection and access to transcription software if needed. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Responsibilities: Transcribe podcast episodes from audio to text in Icelandic with high accuracy. Ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting throughout transcripts. Identify speakers and structure dialogue clearly. Edit and proofread transcripts for clarity and readability. Meet turnaround times for assigned episodes. Follow any provided style guides or formatting requirements.
