AI Engineering Consultant - Part time - Remote, LATAM

Work directly with a serial Silicon Valley founder and his technical advisor as a high-impact contributor and advisor to an early-stage, AI-native startup. You will ensure the platform is robust, scalable, and optimized for rapid iteration. This is a technical, hands-on role where you will both build and provide strategic advice on the engineering environment.

4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience; experience within high-growth startups; proficiency with AI-native development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor; experience building or configuring AI agents; ability to orient within unfamiliar codebases; professional communication skills; availability for PST coverage. Responsibilities: Conduct technical audits of existing codebases; define and implement scalable project workflows and best practices; configure and optimize AI-assisted development environments (e.g., Claude Code); diagnose and resolve complex bugs; advise on technical architecture; provide ongoing engineering support.
